The Wilderness Ranch has more than a mile of accessible river frontage. The river has a healthy population of resident trout, steelhead, and salmon. The current owners observe yearly spawning of endangered Coho and Chinook salmon on the property as well as the annual salmon feast held in the river by black bears.
The river itself has a wide range of topography and aesthetics, from large flat meadows and wide sandy beaches, to deep moss covered canyons in old growth forests that create ideal riparian habitat. |
